Permanent · cannot be undoneHeads up — deleting your account permanently removes every recording, transcript, shared voice, and metric. There is no recovery. If you just want a break, try signing out instead.
In the app Recommended
The in-app flow is instant and handles everything in one step.
- Open Unmute
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to Danger zone
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm when prompted
By email
If you can't access the app, email support@unmute.myind.ai from the email address on your account. Put "Delete my account" in the subject line. We will process your request within 48 hours.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and account
- All recordings in private storage
- All session metrics, reflections, and transcripts
- Every voice you shared to the community feed
- Your streak, stats, and custom prompts
What does not get deleted
- Active subscriptions — cancel them separately in App Store or Google Play before deleting, otherwise billing continues.
- Anonymised crash reports older than 90 days, which never contained personal data.
We hate to see you go. If something specific pushed you out — a bug, a feature missing, a tone that didn't fit — reply to support@unmute.myind.ai before you leave. We read everything.
